Finals Weekend

I hate my life and school and Exams and finals and IT'S ALL STUPID!

Okay, I'm good now. Thanks for letting me vent.

Emily and I had a party this weekend to get some stress off. Plus, it was our last weekend together (maybe) so we had to make it AWESOME! And we did. Saturday morning I had to work and I forgot my phone so we Emailed back and forth ideas for stuff to do once I got off. We ended up with a HUGE list! And, because we're us, we decided to try to hit most of it, if not all! No we did not end up doing everything. But we did quite a bit.

I got off work at 3, got back to the room, saw how life had changed on Facebook and we were off. Our first stop? DUH! FOOOOOOOOOOOOD! =D There is an amazing fresh baked bread shop downtown where you can get awesome samples for 50 cents so we grabbed some bread and hit the trail.

We've hiked through City Creek trail a few times, but this time we went further than  we have ever gone before. We focused mostly on the hike, rather than the pictures this time so we don't really have anything to show you. Sorry. One of the few times we stopped to take pictures.... Ha ha. Well.... Let me tell you! Sometimes I can be um... a little..... unaware of my surroundings. So I had stopped and crouched  in the middle of the trail to take this really cool picture and heard a faint noise behind me. I whipped around, nearly landing on my face, and saw two people standing there just watching me. THEY WERE STANDING LESS THAN TWO FEET AWAY FROM ME!!!! Who does that?! I jumped and tried not to show just how much they startled me and moved out of their way to let them pass. Emily just looked at me like "Really? Really Casey? We've been through this before. Pay attention." ha ha. Needless to say, I felt kinda silly.

After we hiked up the trail for an hour, we decided to head back. We turned around and I heard voices. I totally tried to James Bond it and spy at them through the bushes! Hee hee hee. =D But Emily wouldn't let me. I don't know why! =(

After the hike, we went to the mall. I found a pair of Capri and I was trying them on in the fitting room when I heard this little girl's voice. She couldn't have been more than.... 3? 4? And she started singing, "Do you want to build a snowman? Come on let's go and play. I never see you anymore, come out the door. It's like you've gone away! We used to be best buddies, but now we're not, I wish you would tell me WhHHHHHy. Do you want too build a snowman?" It was one of the sweetest things I have EVER heard in my LIFE! Emily agrees. Period. No arguments! Okay? Good!

A few months ago, right before Christmas Break, we went out to eat at IHop, and Emily has since fallen in love, so we went back this last weekend. They certainly didn't disappoint! It just made us look forward to eating homemade food again! YAY!!!!

Emily has also fallen in love with my three little cousins, Jaden, Ben, and Blake. (And I think they have fallen in love with her too. I think Ben would be totally okay if she took him home to the "Wild" with her. =D - Story time! So Sunday, after this all had happened on Saturday, we went to make real food at my aunts and uncles and one of the boys' friends was over and she asked Emily where she was from and Emily had said, "Wilder" So this little girl looked at Emily all wide eyed and said in all sincerity, "YOU'RE FROM THE WILD?!" She was so excited! ha ha) Anyway, so Emily has fallen in love with my cousins and so we decided to take them out to the park for the last few minutes of sunshine and then took them out to ice cream. It was awesome! =D And the boys had a blast!

To wrap it all up, we went home and sobbed into  our pillows to celebrate our last weekend together while we watched "our show", "Robin Hood" from BBC. I loved it. But don't watch it. It's sad! =(

It seems like all things good really do come to an end! =( But we're not entirely finished yet! You'll still see a few catch up posts from us on here and a few more from this last week. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment and let us know what's on your mind!

I just want to say that I have been so blessed to have Emily in my life! She has been such an AMAZING example to me and it really REALLY stinks to say bye for the next little while. She has been an amazing source of strength and support these last few months and I can't imagine school without her gorgeous smiling and happy face!

This morning, when I tried to get out of bed, I stepped into my garbage can which was next to my bed from our packing party last night, and Emily laughed at me for a good five minutes straight. I might be able to survive without that part. ;) On the bright side, I made her life a few seconds longer.... Actually.... on that note, I did it on purpose! I want her to live longer! =D

Write to you all later!

Casey
